 PlanNET has been contracted to provide RBM support services to the READI project. This $16 million CAD, five-year long project is funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and implemented by the University of Waterloo in cooperation with the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), the Indonesia Financial Services Supervision Authority.  Additional financial support for READI comes from Manulife Financial Indonesia and Sun Life Financial.

The objective is to establish Indonesia as a regional centre of actuarial excellence by increasing the number and quality of Indonesian actuarial science graduates. By working with high schools and universities, the insurance and pensions industry, Indonesia’s professional actuarial association, and government agencies, the initiative aims to strengthen the actuarial profession in Indonesia. 

Consultant responsibilities include: training coaching team members on RBM, refining the project’s logic model and performance measurement framework, supporting staff in the development of data collection tools for baseline and routine project reporting, assisting in the development of a project data base, and undertaking periodic review studies to assess the project’s status against planned outputs and outcomes.
